When you purchase this Travel Protection Plan within 7 days of the initial deposit/payment for your trip, you also receive the General Tours Cancellation Waiver Benefit that allows you to cancel your General Tours travel arrangements 48 hours or more before your scheduled departure for any reason. With this General Tours Cancellation Waiver, your cancellation penalty will be refunded in General Tours travel certificates. Any benefit payable under this Cancellation Waiver will be reduced by the amount of any cancellation benefits paid or payable by the General Tours Travel Protection Plan or any other insurance plan providing Trip Cancellation benefits.

Please Note: This Cancel For Any Reason Waiver: 1) does not cover visa costs or penalties associated with air or other travel arrangements not provided by General Tours; and 2) is not available for certain travel programs. General Tours travel certificates are: 1) non-refundable and non-transferable, and may not (in whole, or in part) be redeemed for cash; 2) valid on any General Tours program worldwide and must be redeemed within one year of issue (but no later than 15 months after your trip was canceled); and 3) may not be used to pay for the Travel Protection Plan or for the deposit payment on your future booking. This plan is available regardless of your age. Pre-Existing Medical Conditions are covered if payment for this plan is received by General Tours within 7 days of the initial deposit/payment for your Trip. Please Note: This policy may not be purchased after you have made final payment for your Trip.
